In this portion of our study of Mark’s Gospel, Jesus is making his Journey to Jerusalem where he will lay down his life for us. Along the way he is preparing his disciples to carry his message of salvation to the ends of the Earth.

As we Investigate Jesus in Mark chapters 9 and 10, there are several questions raised in those days that you and I must wrestle with today:

• What is the key element of healing?

• What is the root cause of divorce?

• Why does God hate divorce?

• What hinders us from following Christ more fully?

We won’t answer those questions tonight: God’s Word will! All that is required of us is Childlike Faith to embrace these eternal truths.
